School Uniform mini-sessions work a bit differently to a family photoshoot. But don’t worry I can explain it all for you. Please have a read below and to give you a little idea of how it all works. When can I do my school uniform pictures?
I run the School Uniform mini-sessions a couple of times a year. Usually on a weekend, around the time the children are all going back for the new school year. But occasionally I add in extra dates throughout the year. Please click the link below to fill out the form and I can contact you when I have dates available to book.

Each School Uniform mini-session last 10-15 minutes which is usually plenty of time to get a few different shots of your child.

What should they wear and what do we need to bring?
They need to come dressed in their school uniform so we’re all ready to start when they arrive. It’s also worth bringing any other items of their uniform e.g hat, bag, jumper, blazer. It helps to get a mix of pictures if you have all the extra items of their uniform to hand.
It’s also worth bringing one of their favourite books and a ‘treat’ to keep them happy and relaxed.
What if my children won't co-operate?
Please don’t worry. As a parent myself I understand your concerns. Every child is different. I get that. So before the photoshoot I contact you to find out some information about your child so I can chat to them comfortably and put them at ease while we’re taking pictures. I’m always happy to be a bit silly in order to get the smiles and giggles we want from them. And if they are feeling a little shy, I have a bag of special props that normally gets them relaxing into a smile at some point.
What happens if it rains?
I’m constantly checking the weather in the few days leading up to the day. If rain looks likely then I ask that you can be available the same time and day the following week to reschedule. Failing that we can wait until my next mini sessions date or have a refund but this happens surprisingly rarely.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellation after you have booked your session and paid for it will result in 25% admin fee being held.
If you cancel within 48 hours of the photoshoot, no refund will be given for your session.
If your child falls ill last minute then I will do my best to re-arrange your shoot for the next available mini sessions date.
